Insanity Accounts

When you sign up for Insanity Radio, a member of the board will create you an account. If this hasn’t been done, contact Jamie, the Head of Computing ([email protected]). However, you need to activate your Myriad account before you can use this account in the studio. You can do this by following these instructions.

Once an account is created, an automated email will be sent to you containing details. Be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder, as often it may end up there.

The email should look something like this.

Click on the login link. This will bring you to a login page.

Enter your username and password as said in the email. If you decide to copy and paste your password, make sure that there are no spaces before or after what you’re copying. Your username should always (except when logging in in the studio) contain the “@insanityradio.com” part. This isn’t actually an email address you can receive email to, but for all purposes it is your username.

This will bring you to a dashboard page.

On this page, you should first change your password. Click the “Change Password” link. Enter your old password, then enter a new password twice.

Ensure that you pick a strong password – the software will reject any passwords it considers weak.

Great! Don’t forget that password – but if you do, you’ll have to email the Head of Computing to get it reset and this may take a bit of time.

Now click on the red “Myriad Account” link. This will bring you to the following page.

Click the “Agree” button once you’re happy with the terms & conditions. You will have to sign the On-Air Agreement both digitally and physically to be allowed on-air, so make sure that you do.

Your account will instantly be created for use on the Myriad Playout system.

When using Myriad Playout, your username won’t include the @insanityradio.com bit. Just a fair warning.

Good luck everyone!
